AIS's Directory of Health Plans has been published annually since 2004, as both a book and a CD edition containing valuable spreadsheets of enrollment data used by health insurance industry market analysts and health plan strategists to plan expansions, mergers and product offerings. This popular book sells for $735, the full electronic version is $2,275 (for CD or flash drive), and the full online edition sells for $8,075. The online edition prepared exclusively for AHIP members now contains an abridged version of the 2016 data set that represents ALL the fields available in the book (or PDF). The 2017 edition will be published in May 2017.

AHIP members who are invited by the association to use this subscription will have 24/7 access to a convenient online database that allows quick and easy lookups of any health insurer. TIP: in your search results, above the column headers, click on Filter By to access the Executive Names and Enrollment Fields--National or State-Level. Enrollment fields are totaled for the user-defined selection of records, columns can be sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking at the top next to any column header. A full index can be downloaded in the In-App Downloads section, providing names of insurers, subsidiaries, parent companies and other names by which they may be known, to help users find the plans they are looking for.
