Centene completed its acquisition of WellCare nearly a year after announcing the deal; immediate impacts include the divestitures of Centene's Illinois Medicaid and Medicare Advantage plans, WellCare's Missouri Medicaid and Medicare Advantage plans and WellCare's Nebraska Medicaid plan, which have closed.
