February Update: January 2025 Medicare Enrollment Posted, With Caveats

DHP last month posted the first monthly 2025 Public-Sector Plan Enrollment report to your subscriber dashboard; this report features the first glimpse into 2025 Medicare Advantage (MA) membership.

However, after posting the files on Jan. 15, CMS later in the day pulled all 2025 Medicare enrollment files from its website due to errors in the files that were unrelated to enrollment data. Initial AIS analysis found errors in the files that caused the Part D and SNP checkboxes not to populate properly.

CMS stated that it would post corrected files the week of Jan. 20, but (likely due to a blackout on HHS communications) has not yet posted new files. We are monitoring the CMS for updates and will post new files as soon as they are available.

In addition to the public-sector report, DHP has posted two new In-App Downloads – Enrollment Trends, 2Q2024 vs. 3Q2024, which analysis quarterly changes, and Special Report on 2025 Star Ratings, an annual report containing all AIS Health coverage of the 2025 Star Ratings.

In the meantime, industry stakeholders wound down 2024 and are looking ahead to 2025. Recent newsfeed topics include:
