Now Launching a New and Improved MMM!

Welcome to the new MMM! We are so pleased to be able to show you what’s been in the works for the past few months. With these changes, we believe MMM is the most comprehensive, up-to-date resource available on public-sector healthcare markets. The new website features everything from two decades of health plan enrollment data, to the latest news you need to know on these rapidly changing markets.

The spreadsheets and PDF files formerly delivered on the CD are available in the In-App Downloads section, and starting now, each download will be updated when new information is available, instead of having to hold back the data for months until it’s time for us to publish. Additional features include:
• Monthly Data Uploads: MMM is updated monthly with new Medicare Advantage, Part D and dual eligibles data. Managed Medicaid data will be uploaded approximately quarterly, due to variance in state agency reporting. All plans are combined into a single look-up tool that allows you to export your own selections instantly, as well as an Excel spreadsheet you can download.
• New Duals Data Now Available: MMM now includes data and in-app downloads from AIS sister database DUAL: Medicare-Medicaid Dual Eligibles Database. Users will now have access to two+ years of data tracking plans and programs in the dual eligibles space, including Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs), most PACE plans, state and CMS-backed duals demonstrations and other state-based initiatives. DUAL is now fully incorporated into MMM, and new data will be uploaded monthly. Check the In-App Downloads section for a complete look at how the much-discussed duals sector has grown since January 2015.
• Exclusive News Coverage and Data Analysis: MMM’s newsfeed is updated frequently with original news stories by AIS reporters, enhanced and vetted by MMM data.
• Special Reports on Timely Topics: As you know, AIS’s Medicare and Medicaid Market Data has been published as a book and CD in prior years. Starting now, the book chapters will be published in PDF format, one at a time, as special reports in the In-App Downloads section of the website.
• Comprehensive Historical Data: MMM is an easy-to-use resource for a complete look at how the managed Medicare and Medicaid markets have grown and changed since 1996. Check out the in-app downloads Managed Medicare Enrollment Data-Historical and Medicaid Enrollment Data-Historical to begin your analysis.

This format allows us to respond quickly to changes in the market and to provide insight on new legislation and proposed regulatory changes to public-sector programs—and it looks like we’re just in time! The coming year promises a Congressional and White House agenda that will keep us scrambling to post new updates and insights on the changing landscape and payer strategies.
